The A.G.M.
![]()
The Cathedral Annual General Meeting took place after the Sunday evening service on Sunday 18th March. Not wanting to displace other congregations worshiping in the Coffee Room that evening it was decided to keep the service short and end the meeting by 8.00 p.m. Both targets were accomplished with precisely 2 minutes to spare at the end of the meeting. Good going! The usual AGM business was conducted without undue haste but in an atmosphere of business like efficiency and good humour. Les Young was re-elected as Dean’s warden, Michael Grieve was elected as People’s warden in succession to Rod Taylor. Paul Hamilton was re-elected as Awali warden. Michael Ross-McCall was appointed Treasurer in succession to Andrew Petty who wished to be relieved of the post. Thanks were expressed to both Rod and Andrew for their services to the church over the last three years. Two other new council members, Claire Ramsden and Chris Bastin were elected to the council to join Angela Murray, Cheryl Grieve, Anne Bouji, David Axtell, Rod Taylor and Stephanie Hanson. Thanks were expressed to Avril Taylor, Rachel Kirsopp and Yvonne Stein for their services to the Council and who were not seeking re-election. The B.A.C.C.
