The change of the Bahrain weekend at the beginning of September from Thursday/Friday to Friday/Saturday has made a significant difference to our service at Awali.  The 10.00 a.m. family communion service on Saturday mornings has prospered as a result of this change. The nature of our worship remains the same and is appreciated by those who are able to come along. Again it is part of our worship strategy to keep the whole family together for worship and it seems to work well.  So we now have two family services each week, of similar pattern and content, one at the cathedral at 9.30 a.m. on Friday and the other at 10.00 a.m. at Awali on Saturday. If you can’t come to one then don’t worry, you have the chance to attend the other. No excuses now!
