Making the palm crosses

On the morning of 20th January about twenty members of the Cathedral congregations were joined by a party of twelve from the Canterbury Group to make palm crosses. By the end of the morning over 1800 crosses had been prepared and 24 of us retired to The British Club for lunch.

The day was a wonderful time of fellowship and it was once again a great pleasure for us to join with our 'friends from across the water'.

The crosses were transported to Cyprus by the Synod, attendees from where they were taken to Exeter to the Cathedral and our sister Diocesan congregations.
