The Fete 2003

The Fete was a great success from every point of view. After weeks of hard work and preparation and much anxiety on the part of the fete Committee Chairman, Angela Murray it all paid of handsomely. The new attractions this year were Santa Claus in his grotto and a bit of clowning around, ending in the best dressed clown competition. Entrants for the latter were few but the costumes were excellent.

The stall were all liberally stocked and decorated at the stall holders in high spirits.

The St Christopher’s School Concert Band and the Public Security Band entertained us throughout the afternoon in excellent style and the afternoon ended with the grand draw.

You weren’t there?

You missed a treat!

This was St Christopher’s 60th Fete and a fitting occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cathedral. Well done everyone.
