The Harvest Thanksgiving services at St. Christopher's were spread over the whole weekend, from Friday 1st  to Sunday 3rd October.  However, the celebration of the harvest extended beyond that period in that St. Christopher's School students also presented gifts of food at assemblies over the next two weeks.  All the donated food items (which amounted to a small truck load!) were assorted and processed by volunteers of the E.C.C. (Ecumenical Conference of Charity) and then distributed to the poor in Bahraini villages, the Handicapped Children's Home, migrant workers and families, and the B.I.S.S. (The Bahrain International Seafarers' Society) Centre
